When we talk about language that could be offensive, it's usually aimed towards minorities, which makes sense because white people have never been oppressed before. I haven't been offended by any language because I am not a minority nor have I been oppressed. Therefor I don't know what it's like to be offended by words. What normally comes to mind when the subject of offensive language comes up is the N word. This word is clearly wrong to say, especially in a public space or area.
In my opinion, certain words can definitely be offensive to certain groups. With that, sure, they probably should not be said out loud. However, instead of just trying to forget about these expressions, I believe they could be written down for historical purposes. It's good to have the knowledge of what the terms mean and why they offend people, and to understand where they came from. Often times when we try to forget about history we repeat it.
Hello, how's it going peeps? Welcome to my blog page. My name is Owen Glazier. There's a lot most of you already know about me, but here's some good ol' information anyway. I'm a very nice guy that will try to never judge you on who you are. I'm the type of person that tries to be here for you anytime, anywhere. I'll always be honest to you. I love basketball. It's my favorite sport to watch. I know a lot about it that some people may not. I'm sort of a nerdy person. I play video games aside of sports. You'll most likely end up losing to me in any video game. Follow me on Instagram: @0.glazier Snapchat: Owie_g23
